Read what Jocelyn has to say about the book "Whisper" by Mark Batterson:

"I am so happy to get to join you for Sunday nights during Lent. I love the book we will be studying and think you will find it relevant in your personal spiritual life as well as the overall spiritual journey of the congregation. The topic of the book is learning to listen for and obey the voice of God. In order

to hear that voice, you have to draw closer to God. And that is right where He wants you; close enough to hear His whisper.

I thought of lots of things to say to try to entice you to come grow closer to God during Lent. But, really the most important thing I can do is to ask you to take a really close look at whatever would hold you back from coming. Pray about it, ask God for His guidance, and I hope to see you there! I know that whenever I have said yes to God and have shown up at an event expecting to grow, I have grown. It has never been a waste of my time; I always get exactly what I need. Show up for Whisper- and get ready to grow!"
